Gábor Kovács
Founder
Gábor is a highly experienced consultant with a strong focus on providing bespoke advice for clients ranging from private equity firms to transnational companies with investments in the Central Eastern European region. With over a decade of experience gained working on regulatory projects in Budapest and Brussels, Gábor is adept at mitigating regulatory risks stemming from local or EU-level legislation.
Gábor has a proven track record of coordinating complex regulatory and public policy projects for both global tech companies and regional startups. He worked for Meta (formerly Facebook) for 3 years, commanding a team that covered Romania, Hungary, and Croatia, and the political cooperation among the Visegrad Four countries. His work included regulatory and political risk analyses, active outreach, and organizing stakeholder events in the region. Gábor has also spent 5 years as an advisor on political risk to a global tech company in Hungary.
Márk Bene
CEO
Mark began his career as a business lawyer. He later joined PRM after returning from Brussels where he advised clients in various regulated industries dealing with EU institutions.
Mark’s references include managing the account of several leading global digital companies across the CEE region, facilitating the market entry of the world’s premier shared e-mobility provider to Hungary as well as advising major pharmaceutical and energy companies in Hungary. He is a regular lecturer at universities and corporate trainings on EU affairs and political risk. Mark holds an LLM degree in international business law from Queen Mary University in London.
Bernadett Marton
Chief policy analyst
Bernadett joined PRM after 20 years in public administration as a financial, budgetary, economic and trade policy expert. At the height of her career in the public sector, she served for eight years as the deputy advisor for EU affairs next to the Prime Minister of Hungary.
Her professional experience provides clients with a unique network and insight into all levels of operation of the Hungarian public administration. She is an expert on EU coordination and policies and Visegrad Group coordination. In her advisory career, Bernadett has worked with clients across multiple sectors, from energy to the financial services.
Tünde Pomozi
Consultant
Tünde is an experienced consultant with a background in law and the public sector. She has extensive knowledge of the energy sector, where she has worked with international partners across the CEE region and Europe.
Having worked as an attaché at the Permanent Representation of Hungary, she has joined the PRM team as a consultant with a thorough understanding of EU and domestic policies in various fields.
Tünde assists clients with designing complex strategies to navigate the ever-changing regulatory environment. Drawing on her experience in public administration, she provides invaluable insight into the workings of government in Hungary and the wider CEE region. Tünde has a legal background and a master's degree in public policy from Central European University.
Marcell Kósa-Sükösd
Junior consultant
Marcell primarily works on the accounts of multinational clients in the digital sector. He contributes to European and domestic policy research, regulatory monitoring, and the formulation of position papers.
Since joining PRM in 2021, Marcell has also been involved in liaising between a client in the e-mobility sector and Hungarian state authorities. Prior to working with PRM, Marcell was a trainee at the European Parliament, where he focused on employment files.
He completed his bachelor’s training at University College London and is currently pursuing graduate studies at KU Leuven.
Sára Surányi
Regulatory expert
Sára is a regulatory expert with vast experience in the structure and functioning of the Hungarian judiciary system. Prior to joing PRM, she has worked in different positions within the court system, including the Supreme Court of Hungary. Building on her in-depth understanding of the legislative environment in various regulated industries at both the local and the EU-level, Sára provides clients with analysis on political risks stemming from emerging regulatory developments.
Iulia Berea
Consultant – head of Bucharest office
Iulia is consultant with 20 years of experience in advising international companies in Romania on a wide range of regulatory and business law matters. She has gathered extensive experience in complex FDI projects, in addition to assisting Romanian digital companies in expanding their business regionally and globally. As head of PRM’s Bucharest office, Iulia is responsible for the management of key accounts in the energy, fintech and digital sectors.
Andrada Serbu
Consultant
Andrada is a consultant with 10+ years of experience in advising international clients on regulatory and policy issues in Romania. Andrada’s pragmatic approach is considered instrumental by clients with business interests across a large variety of industries, such as the heavy industries, the automotive sector, banking, insurance, agri-business, retail, and construction.
As a former member of one of the highest-ranking Romanian law firms and as in-house counsel of a reputed multi-national construction company, Andrada developed significant commercial awareness and business acumen which she utilizes in providing top notch advice to the clients of PRM.
Ioana Stupariu
Consultant
Ioana is a consultant and technology regulation expert with 15 years of experience in digital consultancy working with startups and global tech companies alike. Building on her in-depth knowledge of digital policies, and an extensive network of Romanian government stakeholder, she assists PRM clients in achieving their public affairs objectives in Romania. Ioana has organized numerous international events and has been a speaker at several global conferences on topics such as technology regulation & AI.
In addition to her background in consultancy, Ioana also has substantial research experience as an assistant professor of EU and International Law. She holds a PhD from Central European University in applied privacy and technology regulation, having received research grants at Columbia Law School in New York and China University of Political Science and Law in Beijing.
